You could use vauxhaull callipers and carriers, no need for adaptors and easy to find cheap Hi Guys, Does anyone know which Vauxhall calipers and carriers fit mk2 roccos? Re: Engine a gearbox bush diameters GT2
Nice one Joost,
Thanks very much. I'll get em ordered asap. Would people recommend VW Heritage for buying them, I'll be getting one of their poly mounts at the same time...

Engine a gearbox bush diameters GT2
Hi All,
I'm part way through an ABF conversion into my mk2 rocco but I'm stuck now I need to buy eng and g/box mounts. I don't have the mounts with me, so was wondering if anyone could measure the diameter of both for me, on a J reg GT2?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Re: A few bolt numbers if you please
Wow, been away from the forum for a while now. Things have slowed down on the car front recently, mainly due to having a house, weather and a garage that is too small meaning that I can't have all parts present. So I have to collate the parts and then get the engine dropped in all in 1 go! Got a ...

A few bolt numbers if you please
Hi Guys, I'm in the process of converting my GT2 to an ABF and I'm in need of some bolt numbers if anyone can help...? I'm a bit stuck however, as I'm unable to see either engine! I need part numbers for: - the bolts that hold on the engine mount (drivers side) to the block, they should be 4x hex ...

Re: Engine mounts
Thanks for the feedback gents, it's all very helpful. The car is going to be used, primarily for the track, and maybe the odd sunday jaunt. Looks like the bugpack inserts are pretty handy with standard units. Can anyone advise me on the part number I'll need, the car is a mk2 gt2. Many thanks, Andy

Engine mounts
Hi All,
Just after a bit of advice really. I'd like to potentially upgrade my engine mounts to be poly mounts. Can anyone advise on where I can get such things? Or whether I should by standard and track some poly inserts?
Any part numbers or advice would be great...
Cheers in advance

Re: 280mm G60 Brake adaptors drawing
Can anyone sort me out with a drawing for these? I'd just like a tinker on one of the machines at work. Can't do the real brackets as the machine isn't good enough with hard steel but I'd like a play and this is a good excuse. Also, aids me in looking at caliper fitments for when I need the proper ...

Re: MK2 1.8 carb sounding a little tappy?
Hi pal, sorry to hear about the (sounding like a) failed engine! I'm selling a 1.8 carb engine if you need one and you're interested. Although I'm located in Manchester. Selling the carb too so could come to an arrangement if you needed that aswell. Engine has a new coil, leads and distributor (all ...

Re: My GTX Project
Bloody good nick that! The track slag looks good fun too! How is your MOT tester man with having no front bumper? I'm reckoning on going the same way with my (to be) track car.
Cheers,

Re: G60 & 16v Mk3 brakes
Early mk3s have 280mm brakes (you need the carriers as well as the calipers) later mk3s have 288mm, you DON'T want the 288mm ones as they won't fit.
