Beware that there are twi sizes of tanks. I seem to remember things changing around 86-88. When the Roc went from having a full size spare to a space saver...
I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm or tell me to naff off.

The change over from 40 litres to 55 litres was from 1984 onwards, you can tell if you have a space saver spare wheel you will have the bigger tank. Mind there may be cars that were built before 1984 but not registered until later.
