92 Rocco GT11 WIPER FUSE BLOWING

The windscreen wiper fuse blows regularly -4/5 times a year on my 92 Rocco. No other component is covered by that fuse.
Any thoughts/advice on cause/fix?
I'm not gifted on electrics, so please be patient !!

LCD CLOCL FOR 92 Rocco GT2

Hi
Can anyone suggest where I might get a replacement LCD clock for my instrument cluster? I have now replaced the main beam blue LED and the 3 panel lights and I would like to sort out the bled-out LCD while the cluster is out of the car.
It's a bit of a fiddle getting the cluster in and out of ...

Re: mk2 main beam telltale not working

Don't mess about with circuit boards. Probably just the LED itself has failed. Get another - just over a fiver from VW dealer. Or take the one out of your spare instrument panel. Installation is straightforward. Come back if you need help.

Re: 92 Scirocco GT2 HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Hi Mac
Had another go, followed your advice, and did it with no problem!
Beats removing the heater, etc from inside - big time!!
Most grateful again.
best wishes

Re: 92 Scirocco GT2 HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Thanks Mac
Did you have problems separating the blower casing?
I had to give up after removing the window wiper assembly and finding that there was still not enough clearance to get the complete motor unit out. I did not try to split the casing. There seemed to be umteen catches drawing together the ...

Re: rear view mirror

I'm also looking for replacement rear view mirror 1992 scirocco GT2. The plastic casing on mine has simply disintegrated after 7 years sitting in driveway. Just got it back on road and MOTed.
Anyone out there got one?

92 Scirocco GT2 HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Hi
I need to replace the heater blower motor on my 1992 Gt2 rocco. Can anyone advise me if this can be done via the engine compartment, without removing the heater itself?

Re: Track rod end MK2 1992 1.8 carb GTII

Hi Guys
Tried again. No joy. Ended up cutting out the rubber boot, clamping the exposed joint with a mole and undoing the lower nut. Trashed the ball joint of course but reckoned would be less trouble fitting a new one.
Thanks again.

Track rod end MK2 1992 1.8 carb GTII

Hi all
Got a problem! Renewing a driveshaft and when putting things back together I find that the track rod ball joint bolt is turning with the lock nut as I tighten. I was able to tighten it up to a point where I now can't unscrew the nut either. I might have inadvertently got some grease into the ...
