Thanks
Yes I have been advised it is a little too cheap.
Revised price, less than ebay though, for registered members

No gears
Hi there, I hope you can help
I can select gears OK, pedal feels normal, but there's no drive in any.
when the clutch is out there's a faint whirr
Is this the box or the final drive shaft?
Thanks

Thanks Nate
I rang Koni and they were very, very helpfull.
They took the damper Part No. and the spring colour and sent me the correct replacements.
it's a nice ride now with new springs on

Re: Busted spring
I see so the spring comes off and is not an integral part of the "package"
So I should ask for a spring that fits the shock (numbered above).
A lot of places sell sets, before I start my long search, are there any places selling springs, that folks know?

Busted spring
I have a rear spring busted
On the car are Koni adjustable (8041 1101 sport damper)
I do not understand what "coil overs" are how would I be able to tell if I have them, and what is the difference?
is it possible to just change the spring?
Thanks all :D

Crack in the box
I have just discovered the PO must have had a drive shaft let go and it smacked into the box case so hard it busted it.
He's used a two pack silver repair resin, which with road dirt became invisible.
Well another crack has appeared and made itself visible through loss of oil, to say the least I'm ...

Which code gearbox for my '90 scala
As I said really.
We bought the car with a fault (honestly admitted by the PO)
Now it's worse and I really think it's time to act before it's undrivable.
1.8i Scala
Had a look on Vag cat and it suggests a host AEN,4S,AUG 8A,9A,4Y; 4K,AGB:"J.."
But I'd like a definitive code to put up in the ...
