I have just discovered the PO must have had a drive shaft let go and it smacked into the box case so hard it busted it.
He's used a two pack silver repair resin, which with road dirt became invisible.
Well another crack has appeared and made itself visible through loss of oil, to say the least I'm gutted, as all the work that has to be done..... and finding a gearbox!
I just wish he'd have told me when I bought it then I would have had more time to find a replacement.
Any one else discover a horror after the deal was done?

Hi Kev,
Sorry to hear this, if you need a gearbox locally then best bloke to contact is Mark.H in Stoke
local enough and he should have a couple of different boxes lying around.
just get her repaired and enjoy!
