Mk2 votex roof bars

Hi chaps has anyone got votex roof bars as I have some but I think there is a bracket missing where it bolts under the tailgate strut and I'd like to see a photo if anyone can help, I've had them years and I'm just thinking about putting them on thanks in advance Si

Great stuff thanks, I'm hoping that it's will be easy to fabricate, I think it bolts to the bars then goes under the strut

How do they attach at the door end? I've just acquired a set and cant work out if I'm missing a piece or something.

It's common for the connectors that screw in under the gas struts to be missing.

i'll try and find some photos for you.

i believe it's possible to have them made up.

you can use them without but not recommended.

Sorry, I meant the front end. I've got the bits at the back.

At the front there are allen bolts but I can't see how they tighten on to anything?

There should be a strip of metal over the roof from left to right which go under the bars and is tightend by the allen bolts.
