all the attachments are already in the car (jsut unused) you need to cut a slit in the side shelfs and thats it.

I have a set you can have (ex front ones, fit nicely at the back, come with plates that go through the side pannels too, just come and take all my spares away and you can have them!

Thanks for the input fellas. :beers: i have a new set of wishbone bushes you can have for £10. Ta for the offer mate, but if I do go down that route I'll get some wishbones with bushes in place so I can get them powder coated. Was thinking about seam welding them too but read far too many horror ...

sorry to hijack your threat foonzoooooorooooooooooooooooooo ( ), but if anyones interested, I've done this mod, with 6.5" woofers and tweeters
the speakers are for sale, but you can have the door cards too in return for yours if you buy!!

I've done it, with a drop of around 100mm.. the rides fine! ..i drove a mates astra the other day, i was so happy to be back in my rocco, where i could feel the road and what was going on with the car-road interface!!! ;-) ..infact, I'm on similar wheels, only the two struts though, polyied ...

very much dought youll burst the welds, but i cant quite figure out where there are bushes there at all.... all the ones ive seen are just plain metal... sos the two i made!!!

i bet the filter housing is sat a little high and the bonnet when closed is forcing it down, putting the gasket under pressure/jaunty angle-ness!
...double check this isn't the case, then buy a thinner filter housing!

why not put the golf stub axils on the rocco main axil?
the exhaust is different.
the inlet manifold you will have to fabricate your self.
electric fuel pump? only if you were to run it on the injections system its designed for, if your using carbs you shouldn't.. but I'm not expert!

if not, i have a set of Ninja carbs ready to bolt straight on to the 16v/v engine ;) ...time, me and fonzooroo changed an engine in half a day, but it was like for like effectively. cost? consumables if you already have the motor? worth whileness... prob a lot of fun plus the "I did it myself ...

Thinking more (gotto do something while on the motorways... Have pulled into services write this!) When youa re driving is the batt light on, on the dash? If not then the alt is ok. Another check is when the enines on, jut about tick over speed measure the voltage at the batt, it should be arous 14 ...
