Sorry if this has already been answered but I have searched with no success.
What are the differences between the 1.6 exhaust to the 1.8.
I need vw196x back box and was wondering if any other scirocco/golf back box would fit

Thanks for any help in advance (last part to fit before respray)

I spotted a Lovely shiny red MK2 GT on the A12 passing the Martlesham BT tower. Looked Like a very clean example from the other side of the road.

Well today has been a good day i managed to get my petrol tank back in on my own, this was very fiddly as i have the larger tank and needed to drop the beam. Whilst i had the beam dropped it made sense to remove the rear springs and replace. managed to get all back together no dramas today just got ...

As above, to remove is only 4 bolts couldn't be easier good luck.

So the screen is sorted found a guy breaking a Mk2 in Leeds so decided that a road trip was on the cards. glad they are still available unfortunately its been off the road for an 18 month rebuild so no MOT or insurance so will have to pay.

Nearly finished the welding now all arch work done and valance just the drivers bottom corner of windscreen then paint time.
