I remember Mike building this in his single garage, at the time it was VERY cutting edge.. very few people had succesfully got the 20v running, same goes for grafting the synchro into a mk1 shell.

Be careful Mr Brown, that is NOT a Berg Cup rip off, it pre dates Berg Cup.. that is a genuine Trans Am bodykit used by the infamous Scott Racing Associates #42 & #43 1976 Trans Am class winning Sciroccos... :-D

When I used to supply the Autocavan adjustable braces I used to have to get the bolts from Germany to get the correct length in the same grade as factory. I think they were 110mm long 10.9 grade

I used to work for the company that made the stainless fillers for Autocavan in the 1980's.. the bayonnet was a part off another car.. I just cannot remember what it was. I just remember they had a box full of them left over..
