Re: Mk2 votex roof bars
Sorry, I meant the front end. I've got the bits at the back.
At the front there are allen bolts but I can't see how they tighten on to anything?

Re: Steering Wheel Removal
Is this the original steering wheel?. If so, just undo the nut in the middle and take of the steering wheel. These wires stay attached to the steering wheel. Where else do you think the wires go?, how else can you turn your steering wheel?. Both wires are going through the steering wheel onto the ...

Re: Steering Wheel Removal
Ah ok, I'll have another go at that when it's light again then. On another note, I managed to get the cluster out with the wheel still on, changed the bulbs fine and all good. I swapped the LCD from a working cluster I bought but am only getting 1111 on the display as below. Anyone got any ideas ...

LCD Clock Problem (Steering Wheel Removal Sorted)
Not sure if this should be in here or the running gear section, sorry if I picked the wrong one. I'm trying to take my steering wheel off to change my ignition switch and get the cluster out to swap the LCD while I'm there. I can't seem to get the black wire out from where it connects under the horn ...

Re: intermittent starting! can anyone help!
I'll have a look at that when I get a minute and it's not dark. For the time being can I just wire a push button switch so it starts in the same way but without having to be under the bonnet? If so what amps would the switch need to be rated at? Sorry for all the questions, I'm not good at electrics ...

Re: intermittent starting! can anyone help!
Did you get to the bottom of this? I have the same problem, sometimes my car starts fine, sometimes it doesn't even turn over. Last time it didn't turn over I waited a couple of hours and ten it started fine again. Mine is also an Auto. I've had the starter motor off and it seems to be fine, is it ...
