ive change the thermostat and.....

Hi hi everyone,

I changed the thermostat today and the rubber gasket seal thing. Well ive taken the little bugger off 3 times now and put it back together and i cant seem to stop it leaking slightly.

Any tips or doing this as i cant get the bolts any tighter !?

did this at the weekend, so simple for the bottom bolster. like new now! well after a clean maybe

did see the how too thread but ill have a look , might do the top if you have that in there aswell.

scala 89 1.9i When i start the car from cold the revs are erratic like it is struggling then it settles, if i rev it when i stop it bottoms out and almost stalls (some times does) This is causing problems changing gear also. I going to try and transplant the bolsters and cover from a passenger seat to a drivers seat.

If you disconnect the inner lights, remove them and tape up the connectors. Full beam will then happen on the outta lights. Disconnect them and have a look, it really is that easy. I got my loom upgrade from ebay got £16, they come with instructions and very easy to fit so i wouldnt worry youll have ...

For £16 off ebay id also upgrade the lighting loom as its the simplest mod ever!! and oh my god theres such a difference.

I bought one and put it off for over a month cos im lazy, but god cut and crimp 2 wires and attach it to the battery and hey presto uber lights.

Right, we'll my radiator went pop so i replaced it and i noticed the fan wasnt going when hot, but yet the temp guage never warned me it was getting hot.
