Revs bottom out when not in gear of Stationary

Revs bottom out when not in gear of Stationary

I have an 89 Scala Injection and its really lumpy at startup, where the revs will bounce around between 900 and to the point the car almost stalls and the battery light flashes. If i Rev it up and then stop it will stall.

When im driving the same happens as i change gear , the revs just drop like a stone and its getting progressively worse. When the car heats up it still does it but not as violentley.

Any ideas ? Timing ? Electrical ?

I have the same problem with my valver mate .. just live with it really Ive read there are about 100 different things to check on the gti forum and its a common problem with valvers..

Common things to check are the ISV, AAV, idle, ecu,
