Re: No Spark
All sorted. Required new coil as it had burnt out on the positive terminal frying the connectors and Amplifier. Starts on the button and it’s just passed the MOT - Woohoo!!!

No Spark
I was running the car ready for Mot and it just cut out. No spark. Tested the volts into the amplifier and ok. Nothing out though, no voltage spike. Bought a replacement off an internet site plugged it in, still nothing. Is there a fuse that could have gone. I’m thinking it could be a cheap unit ...

Clutch Cable Routing
Hi all, my clutch cable is incorrectly routed and heavy so I’m replacing. The bulkhead has already been repaired and I’ve got the cable, rubber damper and fitting kit but I would appreciate any guidance or images of how it should be correctly routed on a mk2 1800 carb engine. Thanks Si

Body side mouldings
Hi all. I’ve been able to remove the side mouldings from the panels without screwing the paint up- 2 of them were missing but I like the smoother look. My question is how have you been able to get the adhesive off the panels. Any advice is gratefully received

BBS RA 15"
Hi all,
Just bought some RA's with at ET of 33. My standard steel wheel bolts are not long enough. Is this unusual ?
I have ordered some longer radius type wheel bolts but presumed they would fit straight on.

Re: New Project
Its a 1989 GT2 and its the Tilt forward lever on the side of the seat and the surround around it. I presumed 1 from other models or even Golfs would fit. If someone could steer me or has them let me know and i will DM. I will also check out the parts for sale

Re: New Project
Well it’s up and running well. Sorted the seats and freshen up the ignition. Changed the top gasket and general spruce. Does anyone have a drivers seat tilt handle and surround? These would just finish the inside off

Around the door handles and rear inner wing within suspension area. Other than that the arches are clean and no inner corrosion. Needs some Tlc which is my aim short term at least

New Project
Hi all, it’s been a while but happy to say I’ve got another Rocco.
It’s a Green GT2. Looks straight and I think I got it for silly money (£500). Can’t wait to get it back on the road. Is this Dragon green? Any spares etc that people have knocking about would be good to know.

Hi all,
Not much more to do before she's back on the road. Welding to rear sill - floor areas and rear overhaul but I am at a cross roads when it comes to the exhaust. Looking at lots of updates on the forum regarding Jerez exhausts but are there any alternatives? Fitted a new German down pipe but ...

Re: Fuel pump stuff
I had a very similar issue with my car although it hadn't run for years. I started by bridging the 2 large connectors on the fuse box where the pump relay would sit to make sure it wasn't a relay fault. I checked for fuel flow out of the lift pump and then at the fuel delivery pipe going to the ...
