Body side mouldings

Hi all. I’ve been able to remove the side mouldings from the panels without screwing the paint up- 2 of them were missing but I like the smoother look. My question is how have you been able to get the adhesive off the panels. Any advice is gratefully received

Toffee wheel will do it. Then a bit of polish as it'll be a little flat
