Dude, all German cars have the following wiring colours: RED: Battery +ve BLACK: Ignition BROWN: Earth There are pins on the battery input side that you can just connect a spade terminal to and get +ve. Let me get this straight, is the window halfway down and you now cant move it either up or down?
Or am I missing it completely? :stupid:

If you can hear the motor working, then it could be something wrong with the mechanism, ie cable jammed or flared etc.

I think the light flashes when there is a slight variation in water pressure.

Its a very easy mod to carry out, depends on how good your soldering is! All it requires is fitting a buzzer between a park light feed..... MODERATORS: Please move to HELP section, thanks Replaced clutch cable, nice easy job and inspected hole thru firewall. This is the first thing I check when buying a rocco, its already had a good plate welded in, so thats all good :good: However, after fitting the new cable, the problem still exists ...

Just when I thought I had sorted the GTX's teething problems for now, she threw another one at me on Saturday. :dash: On my way to band pratice in the middle of Leicester and it fails. I managed to limp her onto a carpark, walk to practise then had to get the wife to recover me again! We love it ...

Cant help but my old red GTII went to Ireland 3 years ago. It was then bought 6 months later by Eamon 1.3. Unfortunately its been sold on now.

Reg is H499 URR, would be nice to know where it is now.

As an auto electrician, this is the best of the cheap immobilisers :good:

Another one is disconnecting the battery neg terminal. They'll eventually figure it out, but its all about buying time...
