The 'Rocco in question is my late fathers C plate MKII GT,Totally original and with the original sale receipt. He owned her from new and ran her until 93,when ill health forced him to stop driving,so she was driven up the drive, parked up and shut down not to move from that spot again.Well until last week that is,one 4x4 and a tow rope got her rolling.
Over the years many people have asked the usual 'How much?' 'Want it scrapped?' but the answer was always a firm but polite 'NO'.Then in january this year he was rushed into hospital, and we were talking one evening about the old girl, whats got to done to her and he gave her to me and Louise(wife),totally shocked i said 'Thanks dad'.A week later he passed away in his sleep.
So,the plan is to do a full and complete restoration from the ground up,doing everything that he wanted done to her, along with a few subtle twists and updates( in keeping with the 'Rocco theme though)that'll make him proud. We have a few ideas bouncing around the ol grey matter, which'll come to fruit in the next year or 2.
And here's the old girl in question, after being dragged out by mothers 4x4,then given a quick wash(it was green!!!!)
Before the move.

The shopping list for parts is growing rather huge and ebay etc will be hit hard once we get the 'Rocco to us and we know the full extent of whats awaiting us.The angle grinder, welder etc etc are all on stand by in the shed.
So there you have it,luckily we've done this kinda thing before(although nowhere near as bad) with 2 Calibras(awaits the boo's lol),built tuned and scrapped em..
