how much boost can a standard 1.8 8v inj run?
ive got a spare block kicking about and a turbo set up that came off a 1.9 tdi the manifolds are the same i just wonderd if i can mate the two together?

It's said that a standard n/a engine will take 6psi. But, it needs to be solid in the first place or you'll just blow past piston rings and valve seals otherwise. You'll need a standard cam too as I believe forced induction doesn't like much overlap.
You planning on running it through the KJet? I'd increase fuelling somehow and fit a wideband lambda to monitor the afr.

im just in the thiking stages atm, but it would be kjet
