Hints, tips and guides for repair and modification - the FAQ section on the main website is worth checking first for information relating to common faults and technical help. Useful posts and guides will be added to the FAQ http://www.sciroccoregister.co.uk/scirocco-faq
That is for a MK2 Golf and wouldn't fit as the have a different subframe. You could look on the Volksbits website (They are always at the shows!) for a phone number and ring them to see what they do for a Scirocco.

For £30 you're probably looking at a steel one like OMP, unless you can get a 2nd hand alloy one.
If you got for an FK one....
One thing to be aware of is that there was some sort of problem with FK labelling of front and rear strut braces (I was told this mistake was made at the factory??). I found this out when I bought one. I ordered a front but received a rear, labelled up as a front. I'd have hoped they'd have sorted this out by now but you never know.
I just read in our very own buyers' guide that 16v Sciroccos were fitted with front lower strut braces as standard. I can't get on VAGCAT at the moment to check for a part number, but I'd be interested to know if they are available from VW, and what the cost would be.
