door seals mk2 scirocco

Post by Gem012 »

My door seals are cracked and leaking - it's not helping that my car is kind of tilted to one side due to the state on the road after the council resurfaced it!

I've found out that the part number I need is 867 867 365 G but no longer available anywhere. has anyone undertaken this - if so is there another similar door seal which would work?

thanks!

Car Builder Solutions do lots of rubber seals, have a look in their catalogue. Whilst they don't do one the same cross section as the originals, there may be a moulding which would provide an effective seal. If you speak to them they will probably send you some short lengths to see if one appears to do the trick. Cost is around £5 per metre.

OK thank you! I looked on the car builder site seems to be a fair few options there if it would stop raining I could have a good look at it!

if not I'll have to pay £100 for a door seal - ouch!!!! this is becoming an expensive hobby I'm putting it through an MOT on Monday dreading it!

thanks again!

My door seals are ready for shipping through Thomas or Essex Tom on here.

Mede to the specs of the original ones.

Let me know if you are still in need of these.
