Just been having a flick through everything, very nice, love the attention to detail & how clean your Rocco is underneath. Keep it up

just a quick update , ok got the front brake caliper cradles machined so the front wheels fit without spacers.
then sent the front cradle / front discs and rear discs for plating as did not like the rust look ,
got the sunroof out and yip the guides are shot.
completely stripped the interior and windows out for the respray , but fam coming out in 2 weeks time so they will bring some small parts with.
this weekend is our 30 year school reunion so not much will be done
but work has us going at 7 days a week commissioning a new plant and the big shots want to see my face on site so stuck there for the next 6 weeks.
but will try get some more pics up the weekend

did speak to the guys , what i want to do is send you a kit that you remove your distributor completely and use a 4 pin coil pack like the newer jettas , a 60-2 trigger wheel and that will solve the issue with the master cylinder , got my guy to build the harness on a 16v block this side so will make it easier for you

small update

got the ecu wired in and tested

Image

cut a coil and a half of the coilovers to get the nuts above the height of the tyre so i could get the wheels to lean in more to get alignment right without having to use spacers , not a big fan off them

Image

ride height seems good so far

Image

but have been told i have to finish the cruiser before going to the uk to get the parts for the rocco , so pushed on a bit , albeit with a paint can that i have to stand on to work on it , just finishing off new inlet manifold the drop wiring harness on motor and gearbox
