rear wiper
Hi, the Spline in the rear wiper is worn down an no longer moves the wiper arm.
Is there a fix or is it a new motor?

Re: rear wiper
standard roadside repair for these is to wrap the spindle in a bit of foil (old style kitkat wrapper good for this, or cigarette packet liner) and replace the arm. not a permenant repair by any means, but will keep it going a while longer.
is it definately the spindle and not the arm that has worn?

Re: rear wiper
Yeah it the spindle as I've taken the arm off and its pretty much worn smooth. If I tighten it as much as I can it doesn't help As it stops it moving at all. Without the wiper the spindle turns freely when switched on.
I'll try your tips but its so warn I'm doubtful I'll work. I might try some plumbing thread tape.
Can the spindle be replaced or is it a complete motor?

Re: rear wiper
It's a pretty easy replacement fella, the whole unit unbolts.
May have a spare

Re: rear wiper
I most certainly do have it and it works.
Need to check with the buyer of the Bootlid that he doesn't need it though
