Re: When one is not enough ;)

A brief walk through the work involved: We began by bracing the car with the box sections supplied with the kit and added our own tubular bracing between the B pillars and the rear wheel tubs and between the rear shock towers. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g110/the_autoad/P_20160610_113501 ...

Re: Inner wings

No repair sections are available and aftermarket sources seemed to have dried up a long time ago. Fabrication is the only option unless you get very lucky on ebay and the like.

Hi Joost,

I'd be interested in buying a few sets. Thinking five sets, maybe more.

Excellent!

Looking at the drop, my money is on something amiss with the guideplate. Snapped or popped out.

Re: Broken sunroof query

Hiya Ed, With some force it is possible to slide the trim panel rearward and ping the spring. From your description it sound like a few of these things could be going on: 1) The crank is loose and slipping on the cables. 2) One of the 'guide plates' has snapped. Likely cause of the drop at the rear ...

Re: The Rocco Grotto

More mk1 projects. LongSRtermers may remember this 1980 Storm. Most of the wedling was done ages ago and an owner/fate has been decided. So getting on with it. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g110/the_autoad/P1010007_zpsl4xkgjxe.jpg RHD car... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g110/the_autoad ...

Re: The Rocco Grotto

Oh, and if anybody has a complete NOS rear panel (valance to boot shut), there is cash waiting. A big ask I know.

In fact any NOS panels going spare, then talk to me, I have a few mk1 projects in at the moment with more on the way.
