Re: Inner wings
No repair sections are available and aftermarket sources seemed to have dried up a long time ago. Fabrication is the only option unless you get very lucky on ebay and the like.

Hi Joost,
I'd be interested in buying a few sets. Thinking five sets, maybe more.

Love you.the edmundator wrote:If altering the ride-height won't make any difference to the effectiveness of the damping, then it will have to be a return to the suspension that VW spent many hours and Deutschmarks refining.

Re: Broken sunroof query
Hiya Ed, With some force it is possible to slide the trim panel rearward and ping the spring. From your description it sound like a few of these things could be going on: 1) The crank is loose and slipping on the cables. 2) One of the 'guide plates' has snapped. Likely cause of the drop at the rear ...

More mk1 projects. LongSRtermers may remember this 1980 Storm. Most of the wedling was done ages ago and an owner/fate has been decided. So getting on with it. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g110/the_autoad/P1010007_zpsl4xkgjxe.jpg RHD car... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g110/the_autoad ...

Re: The Rocco Grotto
Oh, and if anybody has a complete NOS rear panel (valance to boot shut), there is cash waiting. A big ask I know.
In fact any NOS panels going spare, then talk to me, I have a few mk1 projects in at the moment with more on the way.
