check the oil pump thats what was up with myn.

check the conectors incase they are touching 1 another i had this with 1 of my old cars so i just bent it back and jobs a good un :)

iv sortted it now pal :) i got a windscreen guy to come seal it and its done the job :) thanks anyway bud

well im proud to say its fixed :) oil pump was shot and also shat its self as well ill put the pics up later but i have another problem now when driving i can hear a hissing nose from the passenger side footwell but also when drivbing taking it steady it splutters as if im running out off fuel any ...

ahh right haha i didnt want to see a classic get crushed thats why im the proud owner :)

hey bud i checked them all this morning they all seem fine :s just going to clear the engine out properly and flush it all and put a new pump in for the sake of £60 its workth doing.

it doesnt have the sunroof drain pipes on :/ its the pop off sunroof if that helps.

well myn wont start properlly when cold but wqill run fine once the oil becomes warm. Im goingh to take it off tonight and leave it off ill just put a filter on the outside for now and also new oil pump and oil ius in order firstly tho get it started and flush it out :(

its dripping from both corners of the dashboard. passengerside drips onto the fuse box witch isnt good at all and drivers side drips from above the accelerater if that helps narrow it down?

Hey iv just read up ton a older post about shot blasting and powder coating a rocker cover and this was busting the oil pumps now my cars only been playing up sincve i recently did the exact same thing could this be the reason?

Thanks bud and iv also just seen on a thread with the same issue about shot blasting and powdercoating your rocker cover :( saddly iv done that so its best off the get a new rocker cover and clean it all out and put a new oil pump on :(

ohhh buggering hell iv just shot blasted my rocker cover and powdercoated it :s and my car is doing the exact same thing but doesnt like to start when cold not to me i think i best take it off asap and clear the engine out. :( lesson learned BUGGER
