Re: 1991 - Scirocco GTII - £1995 - Belfast

Yeah, Karmann Ghia's are lovely. I'm a big fan of all the air-cooled era vee-dubs too (as well as Sciroccos).

Re: 1991 - Scirocco GTII - £1995 - Belfast

Thanks. I'm sure someone will. I suppose it's a fairly small market too. I don't think I'll ever understand the popularity of Golfs over Sciroccos...

Re: 1991 - Scirocco GTII - £2200 - Belfast

Thanks for your response. I had thought potentially the same thing...

Yes, this is accurate. The car was involved in a collision on Christmas morning a good few years ago. Someone pulled out from a side-street and in the icy conditions I couldn't get stopped in time. There was a small impact to the ...

Re: 1991 - Scirocco GTII - £2200 - Belfast

Slightly surprised by the lack of interest in the car. A few chancers, but nothing serious. Is the price too high? It seems pretty fair based on other Roccos in the UK...

Due to lack of interest from this forum I have now listed this Scirocco on both Gumtree and AutoTrader.

Re: Passenger-side Front Quarter-Light Window

Thanks for the replies guys.

I believe it is a clear window that I am looking for sadly.
Below is a picture of the stamp on the driver-side quarter-light. No mention of tinted seemingly. The model is a 1991 Scirocco (Mk2) GTII, if that sheds any light on it.

So if bengould, PeteGLi or anyone else ...

Passenger-side Front Quarter-Light Window

Some lovely salt-of-the-earth bastard has decided to smash my passenger side front quarter-light window (presumably with his/her fist or foot as there was no other objects found inside). I have the window bin-bagged and duct-taped - always classy...

I will need to get a replacement window fitted ...

Re: Plastic Door Trim

Have you removed any of this flexible adhesive from the plastic before? Or reattached any door flare? If so, any tips ...
