does anyone know if there are any longer retreactable 3 point seat belts that will fit in the rear of my mk2 gt, as i can't get the 3 point seat belts i already have to go round my newborns car seat and the front passenger only just goes round. rich

does anyone know if a 1.6 starter motor is the same on a manual and auto?

phoned up GSF today and asked about prices of a new one for my 1.6, and they have said they only stock 1 for a 1.6 and it fits both, so i am a bit confussed as i have read they are different on manuals and autos.

i believe i have removed all the bolts along the top, one at the front, underneath the rear and removed the side skirt and have removed the inner tub and it still wont shift, anyone know if i have missed something or have any ideas? many thanks

the previous idiot owner remove the manual choke, she did tick over at 900rpm but now i have remove the thremo she ticks over at around 400rpm.

got both caps and does it with both, thremo is out and haven't replaced as yet, i did the water pump 2 years ago. she is driving me up the wall!!!!!!

i've had all the oil cooling system done and removed the thromostat and replace the rad cap as she keeps over heating, water is boiling and coming out of the tank via the cap, does anyone else have the same problem or have had this problem that could tell me whats causing it. thanks rich
