Clutch pedal

Evening all. I've put an ad in the wanted section for a clutch pedal. The one in my GTX has been butchered by a previous owner to accommodate those alloy pedal doofers from Sparco. I want rubber pads back on so need a pedal that the rubber will go on. I can't get a new one unless someone says the ...

Re: Warm start problems - 88 1.6 carb

It sounds like a vapourisation problem to me, as mentioned earlier in the thread. I would also suggest double checking all other general settings you can, Ignition timing, plugs, mixture/CO, etc

That's the trim and paint colour in my GTX . So, it's the grey fabric for the side bolster I'm hoping to source or, a complete seat in better nick than mine? Or a spare seat that some fabric could be salvaged from? Any ...

Gtx seat fabric repair

Hello......My recently acquired GTX has the usual issue with drivers seat base bolster collapse and fabric wear. Does anyone know what the grey fabric covering the bolster is called? Were there other vehicles that fabric was used on? Recommendations for suppliers would also be appreciated.
Thanks ...

A road trip is always possible, I need contacts ...

Re: Introduce yourself

Well....it's arrived!! Was starting to get dark but first impressions are good!! A few dents but no obvious signs of rot. Clutch feels grotty but that's not worrying me. Other than that...a thorough check over and I reckon she's very much usable as she is..

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi Mark, The car has been used very little in the last five years. It was MOT'd up until last November and will be coming to me with a new MOT. I'm up in Cumbria but the GTX is near Chester, I'm paying someone to collect and deliver. I did consider taxing and Insuring it then driving her home but ...
