Re: Seat fitment
Guys, will a passenger seat slot into the drivers side runners on a Mk2? Is there any difference between each sides fittings?

Re: Seats - Reupholstery
It's quite rough in places but will look into that. Probably cheaper too.

Seats - Reupholstery
I have a decent set of leather seats, but the drivers is a bit shabby.
Has anyone had theirs reupholstered? Looking at rough cost and possible recommendations.

@hubbadubba
How did it go in the end? Did fitting the MK3 seats wipe out rear seat use?

Re: Wheels Query - 4x98
Think this can work with a set of 58.6mm - 57.1mm spigot rings.
Like these:https://ej-parts.co.uk/spigot-rings-hub ... mm-57.1mm/
And a good set of wobble bolts. Obv there's some care to be taken on fitting.

Re: Wheels Query - 4x98
The Bore on the VW is 57, the bore for the Alphas 58. So if possible with wobble bolts I'd also need spigot rings?

Wheels Query - 4x98
Guys,
Looking at a few sets of vintage wheels for my MK2, I've seen a set of old Alpha's from an Alfasud. They are 4x98.
I've read that wobble bolts allow you to put 100's on a 98, but does that work both ways, allowing you to put 98's on a 100?
I don't mind a bit of work if there's a method.

Re: MK2 Parts for MK1?
Haha, going for it indeed!
I think I'll keep it simple, haven't got a lot of dosh. I'll see what condition the Mk2 parts are in and take it from there.
I've heard the original Mk1 brakes aren't great, mine has never run so I have no idea.

Re: MK2 Parts for MK1?
Cheers Mr Brown.
Sadly no lamps left. Is upgrading the brakes a 'big job'?
The brake lines on the Mk1 were cut during welding underneath.
