The return line restrictor which is built in to the swirl pot return spigot is about 1.2mm, so the pipe diameter is irrelevant so long as the restriction is about this figure. Oil pressure at idle when hot about 1-2bar. You have really got to give the engine a good road run at high speed before the oil temp comes up but should only rise to about the first mark above minimum on the gauge if the sensor has a blue ring on it.
