Re: Manual Choke 'Pulling(?)' Itself Back In
I really have no idea, I had a garage install it! Although, as with most problems I have, it has appeared to have stopped doing it since posting up on here. When I was having a play with it I did twist the knob (Hurr Hurr) so it felt tight, so I guess that might've solved it? But thanks for the sugg...

Manual Choke 'Pulling(?)' Itself Back In
I have a 32/34 weber carb on my GT2, which has been working fine up until the last few weeks, where it has started pulling (not sure if that's the right terminology!) the choke back in itself when accelerating/ moving off. This is obviously only an issue when on a cold start as it can be pushed righ...

Re: Fuel seeping from fuel tank
Update: Having finished uni for the year, I had the car booked in at the garage, all was going well until I mentioned replacing the axle bushes, at which point there was a lot of teeth sucking followed by saying how they didn't realise the axle would need dropping and ultimately wouldn't have time t...

Re: Spotted
Spotted this GT in Melbourne (derby) earlier whilst walking the dog, looks as though it's used properly! http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab75/crashbanggg/A1A2CD42-6AEB-4EA2-9237-A178A6DDF9EB_zpsli8yt4oh.jpg http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab75/crashbanggg/3E63A37E-00A6-43F8-B0C1-2BE3D86D413C_z...

Re: Heater on full
Iv got the same issue on mine, iv got a new valve ready to go on, am I right in assuming it's just the following two clips to undo? http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab75/crashbanggg/602993C7-8E1E-4F77-916A-F443CFD64A5A_zpseeotosuz.png And when I pull the pipes off, will I be expecting fountains of...

Re: Rattly suspension
If you can get your finger between to rubber and the metal plate on the top mount then they are well past there best and will need changing. A picture of the gap will help tell if they are shot. Apologies for the slight thread hijack, but iv got a similar clatter/rattle on mine! Iv just had a look ...

Heater Control backlights
Not a massive issue, but would be nice to fix... the back-lights to my heater controls a very temperamental, and only very occasionally bother to turn on (As in, will randomly turn on halfway through a journey), how easy/ possible is it to get to the wires behind it? ... assuming it could a loose co...

Re: Fuel seeping from fuel tank
I've finally had a look, nothing appears to be coming from the seal, but is definitely coming from the rust at the seam. A new tank is now sat in the dining room awaiting my return at the end of this term (Much to mum's delight), new bushes also ready to go on. Will probably get a garage to sort it ...

Re: Fuel seeping from fuel tank
Hmm thought as much! That'll be more non-student related spending's from next terms student loan then!
How tricky is it to replace the tank?

Fuel seeping from fuel tank
After noticing a slight whiff of petrol around my car and a small puddle/ stain of something wet under it, I've just had a look and it would appear my fuel tank has started to rust/ disintegrate at the seam of thank, in my eyes nothing too serious, its consistently damp as opposed to pouring out, bu...

Re: Lower Strut Brace
Looks close to the exhaust etc from the angle of the photo? I think that's just the angle of the photo, seems to be well clear of anything in reality :) Did the wishbones move out of alignment when you took the bolts out, and did you jack one or both sides at the same time when you fitted it? Just ...
