didn't quite explain myself properly before, the car wont idle at all it just gradually stall after a couple of secs when i take my foot the thorttle, but it will run if i give it some throttle and keep it at about 2000rpm. but.... now that i have connected the red spade connector on the carb to the ...

Morning all,

Well my car still isn't running run right... i have changed carb flange as it had a gaping hole in but that hasnt seemed to make much difference?

There are few things on my carb that dont connect to anything and i want to eliminate this as a fault before i start blaming the problems ...

Wow thanks i really appreciate it. i have just had a read though it and it seems straight forward enough, just one wire at time i guess :D . ill probably have a crack at it tommorow or sunday and ill post up on here how it goes or if i come into any problems.

i had a feeling the it would not be just a straight forward unplug with the amount of wires coming out of it, if the weather stays sunny ill give it ago this weekend. Thanks for the offer but im in east sussex and at the moment the car isn't road worthy.
