May I ask, why lose the spacers? Are the prone to failure or do the cause premature wear on steering/suspension components?

totaly agree MrFunk, I`ve thought that since I got it and now know that there are spacers on the front but not the back so that will soon be sorted :hugegrin:

Due to a freak break in the snow/monsoon/hurricane type weather and the presence of a strange round shiny yellow thing in the sky today, it seemed like a good day to start cleaning the car up. Gave the car a thorough service yesterday and is now running much better but still a little difficult to start when hot so need to look at that still.This weekend [weather allowing] hopefully get a chance to start the cleaning and polishing too.More pics tomorrow.

Gave the car a thorough service and the transformation in its running is huge.It is much smoother and more responsive and it no longer cuts out and the kangarooing has stopped too.However it still is a little hesitant to start when warmed up.I have not as yet replaced the accumulator but the more I ...
