T25 Diesel smoking - where to go?

Hi,
I've got a T25 diesel that was smoking so much they refused it at an MOT place! Any advice on where to take it...it looks like new engine time

It's a 1.7 diesel smokes a bit a blue and a bit of white smoke (not using any water tho)

I'm in Loughborough

....or does anyone fancy a project?

Re: Spotted

In the centre of Grantham (you went to the fill up with some petrol) there was a Mk2, not sure which one as it had been debadged. Lowered on white rims. G268 X**

This was a couple of weeks ago - Friday 17th August around 6pm.

Spotted this beauty (GTX) in Royston and then came across it 5 minutes later in the Tesco car park there and did the decent thing and parked up next to. Spotted today (1pm 21st Dec 11).

Red Scala on a G I think, with alloys (lots of spokes) and twin exhaust. Bump strips had been removed. Guy driving it with long hair and glasses.

M3 Northbound/East between the Eastleigh South and Eastleigh North @ 7:22am on 23rd Nov

This made me feel guilty of loosing mine :(

Front wings

Hi,

What is the method for removing the front wings off a mk2 scirocco. Unfortunately the shell I have will have to be scrapped so would like to remove the *mint* front wings before she goes. Pictures would be good if someone has done before.

Shock - strut seperation

Hi,

How do you separate the shock from the strut on the front suspension. I can't seem to work it out! (YES, I have removed the spring first :) )

Non VAG - Punto fuel filling up issues

Hi,

My girlfriend has a 06 Punto Petrol (yes I know this is for scirocco isuuses but can't find anything on other forums).

When she fills up (it's done it to me too) it clicks off (i.e on the fuel nozzle), not just once or twice but many times each time she fills up. It's been getting a bit worse ...

Grinding noise

Was sat in traffic yesterday and the car started to make grinding noises when idle. Someone has suggested this is the water pump on the way out. Is there any truth in this?

Re: Suspected steering problem

Well it's booked in for MOT so I'll also see what they say. If it's something that I can repair then I'll probably SORN the vehicle and carry out the work myself. The reason I say SORN is purchased another vehicle for the time being while I get this sorted. :)
