I have the "prothane???" kit on mine, think it was about £70 from GSF. Didn't instal the side engine mount inserts as they wouldnt fit but the front and back mounts helped launch loads as it eliminates the rocking of the engine under hard acceleration. also got rear arb bushes from crazy q...

glad to be back, things will be progressing again as soon as the coilovers arrive and I can start to get it ready for the mot.

Those wheels remInd me of Boyd tri-fans, only problem will be one side will point forward and the other back Like RS Turbos. never really got why companys don't make them in both directions

Right it has been a while and the sensable car situation has got worse. The passat died a few. Months ago so I ended up getting a 08 zafira for work and dad cab dutys but haven't been able to bring myself to sell the rocco. The good news is the zafira is so boring I am going mad driving it every day...

Well I am no longer using the rocco as a daily as I have got myself a sensible ish car for work so the rock has been parked up outside the garage getting in the way so I have decided as I don't have the time to work on it any more or the money to tax and insure 2 cars and build a race car it is time...

Great thanks for the info, Didn't get a chance to have a fiddle this weekend as I got sidetracked with the bug then getting the GTX to run right and sorting some oil leaks but hopefully get a chance to pull the switch out one morning in the week.

Anyone else got fed up of replacing headlight switches because their dash lights require constant fiddling, Mine have just given up completely and I think I am on switch 5 in 3 years so figured there must be a better way of powering the dash than the dimmer. hey up, I fitted your front brake mod to my GT. after it all i fount my wheels wouldnt fit on! all running again turned out to be a combination of inlet vacuum leak, cam timing one tooth out dizy out of whack and Idle screw needing adjusting. Thanks for everyone's help. I am back to enjoying driving again. and the misses is happy to have her car back lol
