spare gearbox
hi, ive aquired a gearbox from a late mk3 golf 1.4 engine with aluminuim sump. it looks same as 1.6/1.8 gearbox with clutch release arm on far right hand side. will it fit the rocko as i want to know if its worth keeping? ive had a look at the link with gearbox codes but it doesnt match any of them. the code on bottem of the gearbox is CZA 19026 its definately an 020 gearbox and a 5 speed, altho it has got 90mm dive flanges. if need be will it fit if i swap the drive flanges ova from my box?or is it possible to swap the internals over? one more thing i measured the bellhousing and its 28mm cant remember wot size the box in mine was.any input would be helpfull.
I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!
