Messing around with the car earlier and noticed that the ignition module wasnt bolted to where (i assumed) it should be. Took the mount of and went to re-attach it, only to find that the holes were the wrong widths and so it wouldnt bolt down.
Took the part number (211 905 351 A) to check it was the correct part, and its listed as a Golf ingition module Here.
Using this site, http://www.wagenstad.com/index.php?modi ... e=9-199-00, which i must say is very useful, lists it as PN 191 905 351 B .
Does anyone know if these are the same? Naturally now wondering if i'll get any benefit from moving to the 'correct' module? Or are the two the same under different names?
Correct ignition module?
