Elecric Window Stuck!

Post by DannyH »

anybody know how i can get an electric window that's stuck down back up?? :dash:

the blower seems to have finally chucked it so i've had to drive with the window open.

it's been a bit reluctant to move but i finally got it down to about 1/2 way when it had thawed a bit when i got back it wouldn't shut?? :dash: :ire: :dash: :ire: :ire: :ire: :diablo:

i don't think it's the fuse as although the passenger window is stuck it's making the right noises? the drivers window isn't making the effort or any noise? :dash: :dash:

the only thing i can think of is taking the switch out and getting power to the motor direct? :dunno:

any ideas welcome

ps anyone found out how to sort the dreaded blower problem yet??

Often there is a way of manually winding the window with a socket or spanner - might be worth taking the doorcard off and having a look.

My Storm's passenger side electric window was a tad choosy when it wanted to work, take the door card off and clean up all the terminals and ensure they are a nice tight fit.
