Well after 5 years of getting round to it the rear beam is off,

beam now stripped and at the shotblasters along with the back plates and the hangers

so its time to start getting a list together of all the bits i'll need,
whats everyones views on poly bushing,

issuse's so far.. doing this in a small garage. petrol and old bushing.

looking at doing this over the winter time,

Defo poly bush the beam mounts Bill, they're much easier to fit than the original type and I've had no issues with them on the three cars I've fitted them too.

Looks cracking Bill!

I should finally get around to fitting those lowering springs to mine over the winter. Still got to get the engine running though

They look really good Bill.

Cheers Chaps

, got some bits, and powerflex on order, i hope to start some of the rebuild this weekend, just need to convince Carol a black & decker workmate with a beam clamped in it in the bedroom is a good idea,

The shotblasting and powdercoat was done at Redditch shotblast by Washford, very good job.

Couldn't you resort to some estate agent language and tell her it's "industrial chic"?
