BEAM me up scotty

Well after 5 years of getting round to it the rear beam is off,

so now do i get the 20 years of waxoyl (i've put on) off under the car or keep it on,

beam now stripped and at the shotblasters along with the back plates and the hangers

so its time to start getting a list together of all the bits i'll need,
whats everyones views on poly bushing,

issuse's so far.. doing this in a small garage. petrol and old bushing. :focus:
looking at doing this over the winter time,

Defo poly bush the beam mounts Bill, they're much easier to fit than the original type and I've had no issues with them on the three cars I've fitted them too.


Don't ask me....it was like that when i got here !

Looks cracking Bill! :good: I should finally get around to fitting those lowering springs to mine over the winter. Still got to get the engine running though :crying:

Well this time of year i've always got holiday to get in so...

Cheers Chaps :beers: , got some bits, and powerflex on order, i hope to start some of the rebuild this weekend, just need to convince Carol a black & decker workmate with a beam clamped in it in the bedroom is a good idea, :chortle: The shotblasting and powdercoat was done at Redditch shotblast by Washford, very good job.
