Hello, I have a scirocco gt2 with the 1.8 ex carb engine.. i have all the bits needed to convert to injection, (head. injection system, lines etc)
My question is, could i somehow add the extra wiring needed for the cold start etc without replacing the loom?
if so could someone point me in the right direction.
thanks

Re: ex into dx
It would probably be a LOT easier just swapping hte loom over. It's not that complicated in essence. Took me 10 minutes tops to whip it all out of mine intact, I'd imagine a good 2 hours to stick one back in.
At least that's what I'd be doing :D

Re: ex into dx
would i need to swap the whole loom?
Or could i get away with just the engine wiring and fuel pump and plug into the gt2 fuse box?
thanks

From a brief scan of Haynes (and I mean brief) you'd get away with just the engine bay loom.
I'd double check them though, maybe take photo copies of the relevant pages and lay them next to each other to do a comparason.
