Erratic Rev Counter

Post by Beddo88 »

Drove back to uni yest, and the rev counter started to get a little bit erratic. Was sitting at about 3000 rpm, not accelerating and the rev counter started jumping between 500/1000 rpm upwards. Has been suggested it could be an earthing problem or a split cable earthing out?

Just wondered if this was something anyones had before? I intend to get the clocks out to fix the odo so hopefully shouldnt be to bad to fix.
