core plugs

Post by alib »

hi everyone :help: Any ideas on replacing core plugs. Was going to take engine out and service but now time and money are an issue - have heard that if you loosen engine mountings, drop down pipe and bell housing it would be possible to twist the lump forward to gain access to the core plugs. Not mechanically minded i'm affraid. And whats with the 'C' clips, bet there going to be fun to put back on without the special tool though i have seen a home made one.cheers
