8v Fuel Dizzy on a 16v Setup?

Post by jbo »

Hi All,

Am I right in thinking that you can use an 8v fuel dizzy, air flow meter and lines to run a 16v setup? I know the injectors and air piping will need changing.

Any thoughts?

it ends up not getting top rpm/power as it can't get enough fuel through the system fast enough... i believe, Boumsong knows though, ask him!

I think you'd use a 16v warm up reg and tweak the fuel pressure.

Ah ha that sounds familiar and makes sense. Im sure people have been using 8v ones.

Yu can also use the same fuel lines correct? Just need to change the injectors?

As long as the thread between the 2 injectors is the same. Tho im sure you can use the same injectors on both the 8v and 16v - dont know if there is much difference in the flow rates but all the seals are the same so will fit fine
