which hose for breather pipe

Post by philiano »

Hi
I've recently changed air filter on my Rocco, from the standard box, to a K&N.
I've also bought a breather pipe adaptor plate for the K&N, but need to buy some 19mm hose to connect to it.
Would any 19mm hose do, or does it need a good temperature rating?

Cheers
Phil

most coolant hose will rot from the oil vapurs. you need fuel/oil hose. any good motor factor will be able to sort you out. some bad ones might too

Cool! Cheers Nate. I've seen some oil/fuel hose on Ebay. It's rated from -35 to 100c, hence the question about a temperature rating.
I'll give that stuff a try.

I've got the original one on there at the moment, but its not quite long enough, as I want to move the K&N adaptor plate toward the back of the air filter.
Cheers for the offer tho dude.
