speedo cable change

Post by brewstu »

Ive got a new cable to fit as the old one is rattling, my haynes manual says to unscrew the
old one from the transmition but has no diagram, am I right in thinking its the cable that is bolted in
just above the cv joint gaiter?

The speedo cable goes into the top of the gearbox mate. May be worth getting a new drive as well from the dealer.
To locate where it goes just follow the one thats in at the moment.
