Replacing suspension Help

Post by yourmatedave »

Hi guys, replacing the shocks and springs on my 87 scala for the GSF Boge gas ones under reccommendation. Howevere, as im sure someone will be aware, there is a bolt described as the lower strut-to-wheel bearing housing lockbolt that needs to be replaced on the front. Does anyone have a link to the part or part number as I can't seem to find it anywhere? thanks

Dave

Does it need to be replaced because it's damaged or are you replacing it because Haynes recommends it? Is it one of the big ones that holds the bottom of the strut to the hub carrier?
