Scirocco Register

Think this is in the right place, need to loosen the o/s/r wheel bearing for the MOT as its a little tight, anyone got an idiots guide to doing this?

Wheel centre cap off, bearing cap off, split pin out, remove the castellated nut, undo the bearing nut, remove the thrust washer, remove the bearing and inspect - if it looks ok, put it all back on up to the nut. Tighten the nut back up (whilst turning the wheel in the opposite direction) until you can move the thrust washer under it sideways *just* with the end of a screwdriver. Put the castellated nut back on and replace split pin and bearing cap. All from memory I should add - Haynes manual describes it well iirc.
