Any idea where i can get one from ? scrap yard from a vw ? it`s the sort of olive shaped flange, with 2 holes for bolts.Or would an exhaust fiting place have something i could adapt ?

My 16v one came with a flange, springs and bolts to be attached to the exhaust. Most half decent customer exhaust makers should be able to help sort you out though.

Cool that`s good to know

.Think i might get my mate to knock something up,i have a 4ft length of s/steel tube in 2in diamiter.
Sure i could join thay more easily than how it is a the mo.
How loud would it be if i removed the middle box,and just had the supersprint back box ? It sounds lush at the moment, more like a big sports bike than a car, when it`s on the cam it sounds dirty, can`t help myself, short blasts of acceleration

.
Had a 16 v escort try it on in Huntingdon the other day,oh my was he embarassed

Been told the vaux astra use a pipe with the same fitting,so off to the scrappy, there are plenty in the local one, want to get it all ready before i remove the current one.
What is the optimum bore size for a tuned gtx ? was going to use 2inch stainless i have here
