Pieberg carb,golf driver mk2 1.6,wrong

Sorry not rocco related,my wifes golf is playing up,had probs with choke coming on and sticking,so have disconnected it and cable tied the flap,so it can`t come on,she then moaned about no acceleration,got her to floor it while engine off,only 1 choke coming open at full throttle,so adjusted it to get full throttle,it then stuck open ,had to put foot under pedal and lift it up ! Then the cable kept popping out the pedal .
Where is the tick over screw on a pooberg ? It`s running very fast on tick over,cable is still pretty slack,so it`s not that.
Need a new carb i think,as it should not offer so much resistance when putting your foot down,and it obviously shouldn`t stay stuck open.

Fixed it ! Top tip,turn the engine off while working on it,as the altenator makes a good skin removal tool,when you push your hand into the fins,ouch.
Was my fault,as the cable tie i had put around the auto choke was catching on the 2nd choke,causing it to stick,took off the little flap,so if the choke tries to come on,it can`t
