Weber Re-Jetting

I'm just in the process of fitting a Weber I've recently bought. Would it be a good idea to re-jet it? And if so, is this an easy job to do?? Also, just out of nothing other than curiosity, how much performance, if any, is gained by fitting a weber?

Many thanks in advance

Ok, no responses to that question, but can anyone tell me a dealer where I can get the jets from?? GSF don't and neither do places like Partco or Brown Brothers. Also, does anyone know if the 1.6 and 1.8 jet the same?

I have re-jetted a Weber DMTL dual downdraft in the past, from a 1.6 to 1.8, think some jets and emulsion tubes needed changing. There are carburettor specialists with websites who will help you
