Which Jetex Exhaust?

Being aware that 8v carbs do like their back pressure (bless the EX!), what what be the best option - the Jetex 80mm single exit 2", or the twin 90mm exit 2.5"?? I need to get as much power out of this lump as I can until I get my ABF dropped in at the end of this year, but obviously don't wanna spend too much if I'm gonna do an engine change Got a DX cam on the way and a weber to fit, so I'm sure the exhaust choice will effect the breathing. But then I think I'm just answering my own question here anyway Anyone tried these systems? My 'Rocco is track use only, it may be worth pointing out.

Also, to that effect, if anyone does have a spare performance exhaust kicking around I'm all ears. I'm not going for show 'n' shine here, just raw performance

I'd be edging toward the 2.5" if you're gonna be going 2.0 16v soon.

Yes - but the manifold would need to be a mk1 golf 16v jobbie
